Brian Jacks was the first British Judo player to medal at a World Championship, taking a bronze medal at the Salt Lake City games in 1967. Brian then showed his talent by winning bronze at the 1972 Munich Olympics.
As a result of his Judo background and the phenomenal athlete he was he later went on to achieve national fame for his outstanding "Gym Test" performances on the BBC programme Superstars. After his fame from his Judo career and his memorable appearance on Superstars he opened a fitness and martial arts club.
Brian Jacks was one of the first athletes to appear for Super Schools 30 years ago.
