We are very pleased  to announce and welcome our latest track star James Thie to Super Schools Wales.
James Thie a UK Middle Distance Runner, has been a Great Britain team member since 1998.  As well as the current  Welsh record holder in the 1500 , 1mile and 2000m.

James has made a name for himself as a fearless competitor who's never afraid to travel the globe to gain success.  Recent achievements include 4th in IAAF World Indoor Championships  (2004)  6th (2005) and 9th (2007) at the European indoors Championships .James also had  success in 2003 coming  first place at the AAA then repeating his triumph in 2006.

As well as setting many records and race wins worldwide James proudly competes for New York Athletic  Club this has become his base whilst training and competing in the USA. When back n home soil James competes for Cardiff AAC.
